relief outing against highly touted and nationally ranked Sarasota HS, he
pitched one and 2/3 innings and struck out four batters. In his second

round pick of the Boston Red Sox in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft as a

on strong offensively prior to his departure. Luis struggled as a sophomore at
Rutgers, hitting only .227 in 43 games. He played well as a freshman, playing for the
injured David Williams. He appeared in 52 games, hit .238 with four doubles,
three homers and 26 RBI. He had nine multi-hit games, including a pair of three
hit games. Luis had a hit in each of the Big East Tournament games in
Clearwater
, FL. Luis was a 47th round draft of the Washington Nationals out of
high school. He was named a pre=season high school All American in 2005. In an
incredible junior season at New Brunswick HS, Luis hit .534 with seven doubles,
seven triples, 11 home runs, 41 RBI and 26 stolen bases. The 2008 season will be
an opportunity for Luis to get back to 100% physically and be on track to being
a significant contributor to a depleted

Catholic HS when he went 2-for-5 with two home runs, two runs and six RBI. In
the state 4A regional semi-final game, Jonathan had a career day, ripping a pair
of doubles and a two run homer to lead Jesuit HS over Estero HS. In the summer,
Jonathan played for the 17 U All-American Prospects Team, a select team with
players from all over the country that won the Perfect Game USA World Wood Bat
Association National Championship in East Cobb, GA.
He will contend for time as a second basemen, third basemen or outfielder
his freshman season at USF. Lelo Prado, Head Coach at USF says “Jonathan is
the total package, he works hard and he’s an athlete who can do it all”.

setting numerous single season and career records at Bishop Brossart HS. He was
selected as the Northern Kentucky Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005. His
career statistics at Brossart include records for batting average (.451), hits
(174), doubles (49), home runs (24), RBI (139) and runs scored (118). He holds
single season records of most doubles (16) and most runs scored (40). His NKU
numbers should improve this season as the Conference moves to aluminum bats for
the 2008 season.

initial season working with new pitching coach, Jason Beverlin, former Western
Carolina star and former pro pitcher. Blake led his high school team to a 26-7
record in 2004, finishing with a 7-2 record with three saves and a 2.28 ERA. He
went 5-0 playing summer baseball with the prestigious Savannah Chain team. In
the 2004 fall he pitched five and 2/3 innings in the Wooden Bat Baseball
Association Championship Game for the East Cobb Astros and allowed only one run.

Abilene Wylie HS.

Pitched for the 2007 Golden Eagles. Threw 14 + innings, giving up only

only.167 against his offerings. As a freshman at SPC, Adam was 4-2 in 45+
innings with a 3.547 ERA. As a sophomore he will be a mainstay in the rotation.
He excelled in the fall with velocities in the upper eighties to low 90’s.
Adam was selected as the # 145 ranked prospect in the HS class of 2006. He
played in an excellent summer program while in high school….the Florida
Bombers. In 2006, he was 4-0 with a 2.53 ERA and 46 strikeouts in 47 innings for
the Bombers

season.
