ALBANY,
NY
- Glens Falls’ six game win streak was snapped by the Albany
Dutchmen last night at Bellizzi Stadium. Nothing seemed to go the
Golden Eagles’ way from the start, after the Dutchmen posted a seven
run first inning. The Golden Eagles continued to fight however,
posting six runs over the rest of the game, ending with thirteen hits.
Notables from last night's game include: John Rooney (Siena) who
reached base in all five of his at bats. Rooney went 3-3 with two
walks and scored a run. David Olson (Tacoma CC) also had a good day at
the plate ending with three hits while also having a walk on the day
as well. The season continues tomorrow, Tuesday, when the Golden
Eagles face off against Cooperstown at East Field at 7pm. Come out to
support your Golden Eagles and enjoy the game for Glens Falls Hospital
Night at the park. It is sure to be a great time.
