Ryan was selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher
of the Week based on his two hit shutout against the defending
conference champions. In the 1-0 victory, he struck out six and walked
two. In a previous outing vs.
Quincy
, Ryan threw seven innings of shutout baseball, walked one and struck
out two. His season stats indicate a 1.12 ERA, giving up 16 hits in 24
innings while holding opposing batters to a .203 batting average.
Shane Davis LHP

Shane was selected as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference
Rookie of the Week. He has a 3-0 record after three starts with an ERA
of 3.52. He has allowed just three runs in his last 14 innings for a
1.84 ERA. In his most recent outing, he went six innings and gave up
eight hits, two runs, one earned, walked one and struck out one batter
vs. Mount. St. Mary’s. The Griffs Are 11-1 with six consecutive
wins.

Matt pitched a gem in the Big East opening series
vs. Seton Hall in

. He threw six innings of shutout baseball, walked none and struck out
six….including five batters in a row in the 4th and 5th
innings. Matt’s ERA is at 3.97 and has given up 20 hits in 22+
innings with only seven walks and 20 strikeouts. Opposing batters are
batting only .250 against his offerings.

in conference play. He pitched eight innings of a 4-1 victory and gave
up only three singles….all infield hits…gave up an unearned run,
walked one and struck out seven batters. He presently has a 3-1
record, a rapidly decreasing 4.75 ERA and has struck out 48 batters in
47 innings.

had a good outing vs. West Virginia Tech, throwing a seven inning
complete game in a 5-1 victory. He walked none and struck out three to
raise his record to 4-1 with a 2.63 ERA. He has held opposing batters

The Golden Eagle returnee struck out the only
three hitters he faced in the ninth inning in a recent game vs. Hawaii
Hilo. He has held opposing hitters to a paltry .143 batting average

occasions this spring. He pitched two innings in relief of Anaya vs.
