Golden Eagles post 22nd win

BENNINGTON, Vt. * Kevin Mahoney drove in four runs and was one of four Glens Falls players to score twice in its 9-4 NYCBL victory over Bennington on Thursday.

Jake Owens, Dan DeGeorge and Jake Shaffer also scored twice.

Scott Denault improved to 4-0 on the mound, coming out of the bullpen and pitching seven innings of one-hit ball. He struck out 10.

First-place Glens Falls (22-4) hosts second-place Saratoga tonight at 7 at East Field.

HUDSON FALLS * Matt Kemp struck out six batters in four innings of work to earn the win while Joe Shevy was 5-for-6 with a pair of doubles and four runs scored as Fort Ann routed Hudson Falls.

Kemp pitched in at the plate for Fort Ann with three hits, including a home run, while Mike Alexander had a double.
