GLENS FALLS -- Thomas Meagher pitched seven innings, allowing only one run and striking out seven as the Glens Falls Golden Eagles defeated Little Falls 4-1 at East Field.

The Golden Eagles (5-2) scored all four of their runs in the sixth inning and were led at the plate by Jake Shaffer's 3-for-4 performance and Luis Feliz's three-run home run.

Shaffer and Feliz combined for all four of Glens Falls' hits on the evening. Third baseman Kevin Mahoney picked up an RBI and scored a run for the Golden Eagles. Little Falls scored its only run of the game in the sixth.

Meagher left the game after the seventh. Zac Farry pitched a scoreless eighth inning and then JB Skees picked up the save by keeping Little Falls (3-5) off the board in the ninth.

Glens Falls plays at Saratoga tonight at 7.
