LITTLE FALLS -- The Glens Falls Golden Eagles dropped to 0-4 against Little Falls this season, losing 7-6 to the Diamond Miners on Tuesday.

Little Falls took over sole possession of first place in the NYCBL's East Division with the victory.

The Golden Eagles scored four times in the top of the ninth to take a 6-5 lead. But Little Falls scored twice in the bottom of the inning on Jimmy Baker's RBI double and David Flores' home run.

The Eagles return home today for a noon doubleheader against Little Falls.

The Golden Eagles have put tickets on sale for the playoffs, which will be played July 29-31. Dates will be decided by the final week of regular season play.

All playoff tickets will be sold as general admission. Tickets will be $5, but are offered at the reduced charge of $4 if bought before July 27.

Eight teams will make the playoffs -- the top two teams in each division and two wild cards. All three playoff series are played in a best-of-three format.

Glens Falls pitcher Dallas Cawiezell was named Pitcher of the Week by the NYCBL for the week ending July 16. The Valparaiso hurler was undefeated in four appearances, including a win and two saves.
