The Glens Falls Golden Eagles were rained out for the second straight day Wednesday night, and once again they were scheduled to play Plattsburgh.
With East Field having been damaged by the heavy rains over the last few days, Wednesday's game was called early in the afternoon.
"There's been a lot of water on the field, and the forecast was saying a lot more rain was coming after 7 p.m.," Golden Eagles head coach John Mayotte said. "You try not to have a team travel all the way here if a game isn't going to be played."
The Golden Eagles (0-3) haven't played a game since Sunday night, although Mayotte said the team has been able to work out the last two days.
Glens Falls will travel to Mohawk Valley today for a 7 p.m. game.
