Golden Eagles Reap 2004 Honors; Eight Players Named League All-Stars

The most prestigious award of the New York Collegiate Baseball League – the 2004 League MVP – was awarded to Golden Eagles’ center fielder Terry Blunt, a senior from Kansas State.

Five Glens Falls players were named to the All-Star 1st Team. They were from Michigan, Kansas State, Rutgers, University of Albany, and Navarro Junior College. Two Golden Eagles earned All-Star 2nd Team honors. They were from Michigan State and East Tennessee State.

Congratulations to these star athletes, their teammates, to head coach John Mayotte, and to his assistant coaches for a truly remarkable first season of the Glens Falls Golden Eagles.
