Golden Eagles win fourth straight game
Glens Falls 6, Plattsburgh 4

PLATTSBURGH -- The Glens Falls Golden Eagles won their fourth straight game Wednesday night, in a come-from-behind effort over the Plattsburgh Thunder, 6-4.

The Golden Eagles (15-3), who lead the New York Collegiate League's Eastern Division, trailed 4-2 before rallying for four unanswered runs.

Down 4-3 in the sixth inning, Glens Falls' Aaron Hepner got a single, and David Williams nailed an RBI triple to tie the score.

The Golden Eagles then added two runs in the seventh inning, on an RBI single by Ryan Basham and a sacrifice fly by Brad Beatty.

Basham had four hits on the day, while Terry Blunt went 2-for-5 and Will Groff knocked in two runs.

Sean Ryan pitched the final two innings of scoreless, hitless innings for Glens Falls. Joel Boeschen picked up the win in relief.

The Golden Eagles next play today at Amsterdam tonight, returning home Saturday to play a doubleheader against Plattsburgh at 5 p.m.
