Golden Eagles win

WATERTOWN -- The Glens Falls Golden Eagles put another notch in the win column Sunday with a 7-4 victory over Watertown.

The Eagles fell behind 3-1 early in the game, but Tommy Hill's bases-loaded single in the fourth inning tied the game. Jeremy Goldschmeding gave the Eagles a 4-3 lead with an RBI ground out later in the inning.

Glens Falls (14-3) scored two more runs in the sixth inning, which was highlighted by Ryan Basham's run-scoring single.

Joel Boeschen pitched four innings of relief to get the win. Dane Cory and Shawn Ryan pitched the final two innings, with Ryan getting the save.
