Golden Eagles continue hot streak

WATERTOWN -- The Glens Falls Golden Eagles continued their hot start to the New York Collegiate Baseball League season Wednesday night, claiming a 6-3 victory over the Watertown Wizards.
The Golden Eagles (5-2) used a six-run outburst in the top of the fifth to break open a close game and win their second straight.
Catcher Aaron Hepner had three hits and an RBI, while David Williams was 2-for-5 with an RBI for the Eagles. Will Groff collected two hits and drove in a run as well for Glens Falls.
Pitcher Jeremy Hall (2-0) threw eight innings, and gave up eight hits, walked none and struck out five in the win. Hall, from East Tennessee State, gave up three runs, one of which was earned.
Glens Falls is back in action tonight at East Field at 7 p.m. against Plattsburgh.
