Double header scheduled for July 6th
The game from the June 24th will be made up on
July 6th as part of a double header with the Little Falls Miners at 5PM.
Tickets from the 14th and 24th rain outs can be redeemed at the box
office for this date.

Eagles Represented Well at All-Star Game
Glens
Falls, NY – For the second year in a row, the Glens Falls Golden
Eagles will send a franchise-high five representatives to the NYCBL
All-Star Game. The 2008
Eastern Division All-Stars will include, from Glens Falls, Marc Damon
(Pima CC), Shane Davis (Canisius), Kody Johnson (Pima CC), Stefen Romero
(Pima CC) and Chad Stang (Midland). More

Scout Night July 9th
The Golden Eagles will be taking
on the division leading Amsterdam Mohawks for scout night sponsored by
the Glens Falls Hospital. All scouts in uniform will be allowed in the
game for free. Any civic youth group will be able to participate, Boy
and Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts, Webelos, 4 H and others.
All groups are encouraged to contact the office about availability of
tables and space to promote their activities. For more information

Game rescheduled for July 14th
The game scheduled for June 28th versus the Saratoga
Phillies has been rescheduled for Monday July 14th at 7 PM. This will be
a 9 inning game. The tickets from June 28th will be used for this game.

Golden Eagles Split with Miners
Glens Falls, NY - The Golden Eagles won the first game
of the doubleheader by a score of 6-1 on the strength of Caleb
Strickland's (Okaloosa Walton) first win in his first appearance.
Glens Falls dropped the second game 3-2 despite strong outings from
Scott Denault (San Diego) and Jamie Storey (Midland).

Courtwright, Golden Eagles Sneak by Bombers in
Fourteen
Glens Falls, NY - Curt Courtwright's (Missouri State)
sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 14th inning scored Jose Valerio (San
Diego) for a 2-1 win over the Bennington Bombers. Marc Damon (Pima
CC) earned the win with three no-hit innings.

Denault Guides Golden Eagles Past Phillies
Saratoga Springs, NY - Scott Denault (San Diego)
pitched six and one-third innings, allowing only two runs and striking
out nine while earning the victory in Glens Falls' 4-2 win over
Saratoga. Marc Damon (Pima CC) earned his fourth save of the week,
tying him for second all-time in Golden Eagles single-season
history. Luis Feliz (Rutgers) was the lone player in the game with
multiple hits.
